Yamaha products first arrived in Greece in 1969, when Iliopoulos Bros. S.A. undertook exclusive import and distribution. The company was founded in 1992, trading as Yamaha Motor Hellas S.A.
Given its rapid growth and the launch of new business activities, the company changed its trade name in 2001 to MOTODYNAMICS S.A., with a view to its future entry on the Athens Stock Exchange. The company has been listed on the Athens Exchange since 30 June 2005. The Company and its shares are traded under the title ‘MOTO’.
